                Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed Nigeria striker Kelechi Iheanacho will soon exit the club but they still hope to have him back after some years.
Iheanacho was not on City’s pre-season tour of the United States to further fuel speculations regarding his future.
Another Premier League club Leicester City reported last week that they have agreed in principle to sign the young striker.
“Maybe next week or next 10 days he is going,” Pep told reporters at his press conference in the US.
“We have an option to have the opportunity in a few years to bring him back.”
The manager was referring to a buy-back clause for the player.
Iheanacho currently has a contract that will keep him at City till 2021.
