By Daily Sports on July 14, 2017

Uche Agbo has joined Belgian club Standard Liege on a 3-year deal.

The midfielder told SCORENigeria he is delighted to have bagged a tempting deal with ambitious Belgian club Standard Liege after four years in Spain.

“Firstly, I give God the glory. I am so happy that I have a job for the next three years,” Agbo told SCORENigeria while speaking for the first time on his surprise transfer to Belgium.

“I settled for Standard Liege because the offer was too tempting, I will earn more than what I got in Spain and I have other benefits as well.“

It’s just a good offer and I’m not a loan but I was bought permanently from Granada.”

“The good news is that I have a job till 2020 with a club who have a good structure in Europe,” he continued.

“I was well received and I pray I justify this confidence. They truly believe in me and they came calling right from the end of the last season in Spain and finally I am here now as a Standard Liege of Belgium player,” he said.
