Arsenal Ladies star Asisat Oshoala is one of five Super Falcons stars picked in the Official CAF All-Star team for this year’s women’s AFCON in Cameroon.
The others are striker Desire Oparanozie, who scored the championship-winning goal against Cameroon on Saturday in Yaounde, and defender Osinachi Ohale.
France-based Oparanozie was also the match winner in the semi-final against South Africa, while Oshoala was top scorer with six goals.
Goalkeeper Alaba Jonathan and striker Francisca Ordega made the substitutes' bench.
Hosts and beaten finalists Cameroon equally provided five players on the tournament squad with AWCON MVP Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene topping this list. (mtnfootball.com)
