Nigeria striker Victor Anichebe debuted for his new Chinese second division team Beijing Enterprise on Sunday in a 1-0 loss at Dalian Yifang.
Anichebe, who spotted jersey number 11, was a second-half substitute and showed some flashes of what should be expected of him.
The powerful striker joined the Chinese second-tier league team on a free transfer after he was released by Sunderland.
His career has been hampered by a series of injuries.
