Michael Olaitan shops for new club

By Daily Sports on July 4, 2017

Former Nigeria U20 forward Michael Olaitan is again on the move as he is shopping for a new club after he was let go by Greek club Panionios.

Quoting a source based in Greece, SCORENigeria reported that Olaitan who is a free agent is looking out for a new club.

Once hailed as a future Super Eagles star, Olaitan appears not to have put behind him a terrifying incident when he collapsed and had to be rushed to hospital during an Athens derby between his club then Olympiacos and Panathiniakos in 2014.

His handlers gave him a clean bill of health, but Olympiacos subsequently shipped him out on loan to Holland and later Belgium before they eventually terminated his contract.

The 24-year-old Olaitan last played for another club Greek Panionios, who released him in February after he failed to establish himself in the first team.
