Lobi Stars’ Tony Okpotu has disclosed that they are aware that Wikki Tourists will prove to be a difficult opposition on Wednesday in Bauchi judging by their past encounters but that they are buoyed to pick valuable points based on their second round performance.
The forward has scored 10 goals to help the Pride of Benue and he stated that the players and officials of the Makurdi side know that they won’t be Bauchi for a tea party with the league entering the business end of the season.
“Wikki Tourists have always been a tough customer and we know this fixture won’t be different,'' Okpotu told Goal.
''We have prepared very well for this fixture and we won’t allow anything to distract us at all. We are closer to the top three which will guarantee us at least a continental ticket and we are going to Bauchi with the confidence that we can get a good result and boost our chances of the finishing the season strongly.''
