Stephen Odey: MFM FC eye Celtic

By Daily Sports on June 23, 2017

MFM FC have revived the interest of perennial Scottish champions Celtic in star striker Stephen Odey.

Celtic are keen to sign Odey, who has now scored 15 goals in the Nigeria premier league this season, but their initial approach to the Lagos club was not formally acknowledged.

“MFM have now got back to Celtic and they are open to the player paying a visit to the club,” a top source who is familiar with the deal informed SCORENigeria

“They are now waiting for a response from Celtic.”

MFM FC value 19-year-old Odey at between 800,000 and a million Euros.

The striker’s recent trial at Danish club FC Midtjylland ended in controversies.
