'Echjejile needs help'

By Daily Sports on June 19, 2017

The disaster against Bafana Bafana a couple of weeks ago has unearthed a myriad of problems for the Super Eagles. This is according to former Super Eagles defender Taye Taiwo.

None is more pressing than sealing the defence both at the full back positions and in goal.

Taiwo who plays for FC Luassane Sport of Switzerland shared: “"I feel the coaches should scout for more players especially in defence and particularly at the full-back positions.

"Echjejile is a good player, forget that he didn't play well against South Africa but I still feel he needs one or two equally good left-backs to fight for the position with him."

While its back to the drawing back for coach Rohr, Cameroon is racking up vital playing time at the FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia which kicked off Saturday evening.

The African Champion will face Chile in their first test. They will then travel to Uyo for the first of a crucial double header on August the 28th and in turn then host the Super Eagles in the Yaounde on September the 4th.
