Man City slam £25m transfer fee on Iheanacho

By Daily Sports on June 18, 2017

Manchester City are set to hold out for a £25 million minimum fee for Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho, according to reports.

The Super Eagles star is set to leave Manchester City after dropping in the pecking order behind Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus in the Premier League club’s striking positions.

Iheanacho’s situation at City has led to the likes of West Ham, Leicester City and Everton to indicate their interest for him.

But according to Claretandhugh.info, City are not willing to let the 20-year-old go on the cheap, hence the decision to place the huge price tag for his services.

Last year, Iheanacho signed a contract extension at City until 2021 but is now deemed surplus to requirements.

And with City’s boss Pep Guardiola’s plans to add to his strike force in the transfer window, Iheanacho is expected to follow the likes of Bacary Sagna, Willy Caballero, Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Nolito out of the club.
