Swansea City, Brighton queue up for Onyekuru, meet agents

By Daily Sports on May 29, 2017

As the scramble to sign Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru heats up, Swansea City and promoted Brighton & Hove Albion have joined the growing list of clubs who have shown interest to sign the 19-year-old goal getter.

Arsenal are already discussing with the striker’s handlers and reports said talks have progressed very well.

But that will not stop both Swansea and Brighton from holding discussions with the player’s agents over a possible deal this week.

A source close to the player told ScoreNigeria.com.ng that Swansea are now due to meet Onyekuru’s representatives.

The Nigeria forward, whose goals contributed to KAS Eupen promotion to the elite division in Belgium and went ahead to paint Belgium red with goals in the just-ended season, is not lacking suitors.

“Henry (Onyekuru) is hot in demand everyone can see that. Swansea and Brighton & Hove Albion have shown interest too and want to meet his agency for a possible transfer talk,” the source said.

Swansea barely escaped relegation this past season, while Brighton are back in the English top flight after a very long absence.
