Kelechi Iheanacho got 19 minutes of game time as Manchester City defeated Hull City 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium in Saturday’s English Premier League game.
He made way for captain David Silva who was making his 300th appearance for the Citizens since his move from Valencia in 2010.
It was Iheanacho’s sixth English topflight game this year – with his last outing in their 1-1 home draw against Liverpool on March 19.
After losing to Chelsea in their last outing, Pep Guardiola’s side opened scoring in the 31st minute courtesy of Ahmed El Mohamady’s own goal.
Sergio Aguero got the second for the Citizens in the 48th minute before Fabian Delph netted the third 16 minutes later.
However, Andrea Ranocchia got one for the visitors courtesy Shaun Maloney’s assist.
Manchester City’s latest victory takes them up to 61 points after 31 matches, having now won 18 games to date. (Goal.com)
