Nigeria striker Ibrahim Shuaibu shone like a million stars as his brace helped his side FK Haugesund defeat Valeranga 4-3 in the Norwegian top flight on Thursday.
The former Giwa FC striker struck in the 36th and 47th minute to help his side bag the three points at home against a resilient Valeranga side.
Frederik Gytkjae put Haugesund ahead in the 15th minute before Shuaibu made it 2-0 with a deft finish as his side looked comfortable before the break.
Two minutes later and Valeranga halved the score through an unfortunate own goal by Vegard Skjerve but Shuaibu restored his side’s two-goal advantage scoring a third for Valeranga and his second of the game in the 47th minute.
Muhamed Keita made it 3-2 before Magnus Retsius Groedem’s goal tied the game at 3-3 with ten minutes left to play.
Frederik Gytkjae secured the points for Haugesund with a late goal in the 90th minute to steal all the three points for the home side.
