The South African Football Association (SAFA) are set to announce the new head coach of the senior national team this week.
The SAFA technical committee met on Monday to finalise the replacement for Ephraim ‘Shakes’ Mashaba, who was fired two months ago.
Dennis Mumble, SAFA’s chief executive officer, has already confirmed that the list of candidates had been narrowed down to five.
On Monday, the organisation’s communications manager Dominic Chimhavi disclosed on his personal Twitter account that the announcement can be expected this week.
The official Bafana Twitter account also revealed that the technical committee are in the final stages of selecting a new head coach. (mtnfootball.com)
