Oil mongul, Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has doled out N15 million to his victorious team after they made history by winning this year’s Federation Cup.
He rewarded the players with N10 million, while officials will share three million Naira and the supporters will receive N2 million.
The Nnewi club won their first major trophy after two years in the Nigeria premier league when they defeated Nasarawa United 5-4 on penalties after a goalless draw in 90 minutes.
‘The Anambra Warriors’ will represent Nigeria in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Beaten finalists Nasarawa United were rewarded with a cash gift of 200,000 Naira each and a plot of land by Nasarawa State Government. (mtnfootball.com)
