Manu Garba has been lined up to lead promoted Gombe United in the new Nigeria league season, according to top sources.
The former Nigeria U20 coach will soon be announced as the coach of his hometown club.
“Manu Garba will be appointed new coach of Gombe United,” disclosed a top official.
“What is just left is the announcement of his appointment.”
It will be his second spell at the club, who he also played for.
Gombe United won promotion back to the top flight on the final day of the Nigeria National League with a win at Supreme Court FC of Abuja ahead of closest rivals Dreams FC owned by former international Dominic Iorfa.
They were led by former Nigeria U17 coach Hassan Abubakar. (NAN)
