Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr is expected in Nigeria from his base in France early Sunday in time to watch the Federation Cup final between FC IfeanyiUbah and Nasarawa United.
He will also make the most of this chance to discuss with top officials before he heads out to Abuja for a training camp ahead of the big World Cup qualifier against Algeria in Uyo.
Officials are also confident that a good number of call-ups for the game will be in camp Sunday for training to begin latest Monday evening.
Rohr, 63, has posted a perfect start to his reign as Nigeria coach after he won his first two games – 1-0 at home against Tanzania in an AFCON 2017 qualifier and 2-1 in Ndola against Zambia in a 2018 World Cup qualifier. (mtnfootball.com)
