Ideye: Gernot Rohr doesn't take bullsh*t

By Daily Sports on November 4, 2016

Olympiacos striker Brown Ideye has described Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr as a no-nonsense man.

The 24-year-old has been in fine form for his Greek topflight side, and he would be hoping to help the Super Eagles fly past Algeria in next week's 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier in Uyo.

He said the German tactician has a very strong personality and knows what he desires from the team.

“He is very difficult man in working terms," Ideye told SuperSport. "The manager knows what he wants and he always push us to the best. He doesn’t take bullsh*t from anyone. So I think with coach like this we’ll really do well.

"And I think working with him is a privilege. I am really happy. I can’t wait for the game [against Algeria]. I am looking forward to the game."

The former West Bromwich Albion also revealed that the level of interaction between the older generation of Eagles and the young guns, makes the senior national team so thick.

“We have good understanding [with the young players] we speak a lot before and after any game. I don’t have problem with them and they are very cool guys. So we enjoy playing together."

Algeria will be hoping to shock the three-time African champions in Uyo with the hope of redeeming their stuttering 2018 World Cup aspiration following their 1-1 draw against Cameroon on Day One. (goal.com)
