Decision of the NFF Disciplinary Committee

In the matter between KWARA UTD FC VS FC TARABA PROTESTER: WIKKI TOURISTS FEEDERS FINDINGS:

1. The Committee noted that the allegation of inordinate match accord as alleged by Wikki Tourists Feeder FC could not be proved beyond reasonable doubt considering the facts presented before the Committee.

2. The Committee notes that the decision for the match to be re-scheduled to 2nd October, 2016 by 10:00am was not complied with as the match did not start as scheduled.

3. Based on the above the Committee rules as follows:

4. That the match played on 2nd October, 2016 is hereby classified as a no match based on its failure to kick off within 30mins of the re-scheduled kick off time of 10:00am.

5. The Committee hereby orders a replay of the match between Kwara Utd FC Vs FC Taraba in Abuja under closed doors with close supervision by the Nigeria National League at a date and time to be fixed by the NNL

6. That Taraba FC are hereby fined the Sum of One Million Naira (N1,000,000) Only for being responsible for the late kick-off of the re-scheduled match.

7. The Committee in arriving at the above decisions invoked Art. 3.8(3).

8. The Committee notes with regrets the failure of the appointed Centre Referee Elaigwu Hannah not to have being able to state the exact commencement time of the match in her report.

9. The Committee notes that all parties have a right to appeal its decision. (thenff.com)
