Niger Tornadoes have dropped 13 players and hope to sign 11 new players ahead of the new Nigeria league season.
The Minna club, who finished 12th in their first season back in the top flight, have also retained 19 players from the past campaign.
These players include experienced Solomon Owello, Mustapha Aliko and the highly promising Gabriel Wassa.
Eight players have been placed on standby should some of those retained choose to leave.
Coach Abubakar Bala will be in charge of the team after he spent more than a decade as an assistant coach there.
The new season is expected to begin in December. (mtnfootball.com)
