Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has donated a million Naira to injured Rangers striker, Ifeanyi Egwim when he visited him in hospital.
Egwim has been operated on twice after he suffered a double leg fracture during Sunday’s championship decider at home against El Kanemi Warriors.
Rangers doctor said the striker should be back playing again in four months.
Ugwuanyi visited Egwim at the National Orthopedic Hospital in Enugu Tuesday to wish him quick recovery.
The Enugu State Government’s huge financial support has helped Rangers to be back on top of Nigeria football.
In the meantime, Rangers have made a donation of a cow and other gift items to Father Mbaka’s church in Enugu to show their appreciation to God for emerging champions again after a 32-year wait.
“God has done his own part, we should do our own part,” said Rangers general manager Paul Chibuzor. (NAN)
