Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has congratulated one of his assistant coaches, Imama Amapakabo, after he led Enugu Rangers to a historic league championship win.
Imama made history Sunday, when in his first season in full charge of a premier league club he led Rangers to be champions again after they last triumphed in 1984.
Franco-German Rohr sent Imama an sms congratulating him on the Rangers, while expecting him in the Eagles training camp in Abuja ahead of Sunday's World Cup qualifier in Zambia.
Two players from Rangers are also part of this training camp – Olympic team goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel and late call-up Chisom Egbuchulam. (mtnfootball.com)
