7th U-13 JOF Kids Cup: Teams Record Victories As Preliminary Round Hots Up Across Centres

The ongoing 7th U-13 JOF Kids Cup Tournament is no doubt living up to expectations as young footballers continue to showcase their God-given talent on the pitch of play.

Last weekend, explosive matches were played in the two centres, and expectedly, the winners justified their victories sending strong signals that this year's U-13 JOF Kids Cup is not for the weaklings.

On Friday at Ojo Oniyun centre, Future Talent from Ojo beat FC Rainbow from Mushin 1-0. The Young Tiger Football Academy of Oshodi defeated Okoto ACA in a 3-1 game. Strong Dove from Coker beat Master Football Academy from Yaba 3-2

At Lekki centre,  Mighty Star from Makoko silenced Gracious Ayo from Ikorodu 3-1, Super Rainbow from Iwaya beat Demilade Boys from Ayobo 1-0, while ADC Academy from Ogba defeated Ultimate Football Academy from Coker 3-1.

On Saturday, results from Ojo Oniyun centre have it that Brain Heart Football Academy from Mile 2 lost 0-1 to Stallion Future from Aguda, ROF Kid Football Academy beat De First Atlanta from Aguda 3-2, Phoenix Boys from Apapa beat 36 Lion from Ajegunle 1-0.

At Lekki centre, Young Talent from Ajegunle were too much for Supreme Star also from Ajegunle in 2-1 match, Bright Future of Ajegunle lost 0-1 to Bravo Sport of Victoria Island, while Omonios Football Academy from Otto defeated radiance Football Academy from Lagos Island 2-0.

The Royal from Makoko beat ICE Football Academy 2-1 in one of the matches decided at Ono Oniyun centre on Sunday. In other results at the centre,  PLT Football Academy from Iwaya defeated MAFE Academy from Ijegun 2-1, while at Lekki centre, Smart Striker from Ogun state proved supremacy over Tobi Football Academy from Ajah in a duel that ended 3-2. Dollars Boys from Ifako lost 2-3 to Rufus Babes from Agbara. Furtune Football Academy from Oshodi defeated D-Pillar Football Academy from Ojota in a 2-1 match.

Meanwhile, more fixtures will be played across the two centres in the weekend of 20-22 March 2026.
