The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, has congratulated the Nigerian Army Football Team (Green Beret Football Club) for winning the Nation Wide League Division 2 tournament. By this feat, the Green Beret FC has gained promotion to the Nation Wide League Division One.
To further encourage the team, arrangements are in top gear to formally receive and honour the team by the Nigerian Army.
“Congratulations to the Green Beret FC and all the officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army,” the Army high Command said in a statement issued by the Acting Director of Public relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman.
