Jeff Ezechukwu Nweke, the Action Alliance (AA) candidate for the Nov. 8 Anambra State Governorship election, exuded confidence and conviction in his bid for the top seat.
Known for his remarkable philanthropy and security expertise, Nweke is positioning himself as a fresh breath of air in the state’s political landscape.
With a warm smile and infectious passion for his beloved state, Nweke on Thursday in Awka declared, “I’m contesting to win. I’m a different brand of politician. I have a bigger and better ambition for Anambra State than all the contestants in the race.”
When asked about his chances against more financially endowed opponents, he retorted, “I don’t have their kind of money, it’s a known fact and obvious, but I have a better idea on how to take Anambra State to a greater height.”
Nweke’s philanthropic efforts have earned him a stellar reputation in Awka, one that precedes his political ambitions.
His commitment to improving the lives of Anambra residents is evident in his numerous initiatives, which have positively impacted many lives.
His Campaign Director General, Chijioke Onyekonwu, described Nweke as a fearless community leader who has never been embroiled in land disputes.
“Chief Nweke has no single land case on his behalf, but community cases,” Onyekonwu clarified.
This distinction underscores Nweke’s commitment to serving the greater good, rather than personal interests.
As Anambra State gears up for the November 8 election, Nweke’s message of hope, coupled with his track record of philanthropy and security expertise, positions him as a formidable contender.
Whether his ambition to take Anambra State to greater heights will resonate with the electorate remains to be seen, but one thing is certain – Chief Jeff Nweke is a force to reckon with in the state’s political arena.
Nweke, is locking horns with incumbent, Gov. Chukwuma Soludo (APGA), Sir Paul Chukwuma (YPP), and Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu (APC), amongst others, in the highly anticipated Anambra State gubernatorial election.
