The Daramola Dynasty Foundation has announced the launch of its football academy to inspire hope and create opportunities for young boys in the Remo community of Ogun State through sports and education.
Established in December 2024, the academy which is gradually swinging into operation will focus on boys between the ages of 13-15 for structured football training with academic and character-building opportunities.
In addition to thorough football coaching, the academy aims to ensure the boys have the resources they need to thrive by supporting their educational growth, with monthly stipends, scholarships to cover WAEC and JAMB fees, as well as health insurance to safeguard their well-being.
Founder of the initiative, Olanrewaju Daramola said, “This academy represents hope. It’s about giving young boys in our community the tools to dream big, achieve their goals, and become positive contributors to society.
“Through education, health support, and structured training, we’re not only shaping football players, we’re shaping future leaders. With this project, the Daramola Dynasty Foundation continues its commitment to building a better future for the community through impactful, sustainable initiatives.”
Meanwhile, the academy will begin open trials between February and March 2025 to recruit players into the club just as parents, guardians and interested members of the public are enjoined to register their children through the club’s website.
