The number of Nigerians both home and in the Diaspora who have been sending congratulatory messages to the newly crowned 2024 African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman is increasing every day with the latest one coming from eleven year old Nigeria football prodigy, Hendriel Chukwuziterem.
The Super Eagles and Atlanta of Italy forward was last Monday in Morocco crowned the new African Footballer of the year, taking over from fellow Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen and the Canada based Hendriel believes that Lookman deserves the honour; saying that he'll be inspired by his performance to do his best for his country.
" I'm highly excited with Lookman winning the African Footballer of the Year Award because he merited it considering his performance for both country and club and I want to extend my congratulations to him.
"The award is very special to me because it will inspire me to put in my best for the country whenever the opportunity comes for me to be part of the U-15 National team.
"I have been watching what Lookman is doing for his club especially his hat trick that made it possible for Atlanta to win the last Europa Cup as well as his performance at the last AFCON finals in Cote d'Ivoire and I hope to surpass that record in future,”declares Hendriel who was recently invited to Villarreal following his impressive performance at the just concluded Villarreal Alberta ID camp, led by Villarreal CF coach Rafael Borillo Fores from Spain
