Olarenwaju Kayode netted a hat-trick for Şanlıurfaspor in their 4-1 win at Adanaspor in a Turkish 1. Lig Game week 9 fixture on Saturday night, leaving the club over the moon, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The Nigeria striker found the target on 41, 51, and 80 minutes, taking his tally to four in six appearances for the travellers, who bagged all three points at Yeni Adana Stadyumu, Adana.
The club celebrated his feat and the away win on their Instagram page on Sunday, using the 31-year-old as the poster boy.
One of Nigeria’s most travelled internationals, Kayode has scored 89 goals in 281 matches in his 13-year European club career that has seen him play for Luzern, Maccabi Netanya, Austria Vienna, Girona, LAL, Shakhtar Donetsk, Gaziantep FK, Sivasspor, Ümraniyespor, Gençlerbirliği, and Şanlıurfaspor following his arrival at Luzern from ASEC Mimosas in 2011.
He joined his current club in August and opened his account in their 4-1 win at Fatih Karagümrük on September 3.
