Moses wins first Premier League title with Chelsea

By Daily Sports on May 13, 2017

Nigeria international Victor Moses has won his first-ever Premier League championship in England after Chelsea clinched their sixth title with a late winner at West Bromwich Albion.

Chelsea thus tallied an unassailable 87 points from 36 matches, 10 points clear of closest rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea looked like they will have to put their title celebrations on hold till Monday at home against Watford, before substitute Michy Batshauyi rolled home a low cross from the right after 82 minutes.

For Victor Moses, this was his first full season at Chelsea even though he joined them in the 2012/13 season as he has been variously shipped out on loan by ‘The Blues’.

Victor Moses, whose Chelsea career was transformed by manager Antonio Conte playing him at an unusual right wing-back, has played 33 games and scored three goals in the league.

The 26-year-old Nigeria star was pulled off four minutes from full time as Chelsea locked up the game to be champions again.
