Nigeria’s Wahid Enitan Oshodi has been elected as the new president of the African Table Tennis Federation on Tuesday.
Oshodi was confirmed for the new role at the 2024 ATTF annual general meeting held at the African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
He becomes the second Nigerian to hold the prestigious position after Engr. Segun George, a former ATTF President.
Oshodi who has served as the Executive Vice President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and Deputy President of ATTF was once the Chairman of the Lagos State Table Tennis Association.
He became Sports Commissioner of the state in 2011 during Governor Babatunde Fashola’s administration.
