Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri praised Nigerian forward Ahmed Musa after he scored two stunning goals in Leicester’s 2-4 loss to FC Barcelona at the International Champions Cup on Wednesday.
Ranieri was impressed with Musa’s display and lauded the former CSKA Moscow man for a “good” showing.
“He (Musa) was good. We tried to do something good. Of course, when you make little mistakes against so many champions, they can invent anything.
“I’m very happy with the discipline and momentum of the pre-season.
“Of course, we didn’t win, but we are on the right way. It was a very hard training session because when Barcelona keep possession of the ball, you have to move very quickly to press and go on the counter-attack.
“For this reason, I’m very pleased,” Ranieri told LCFC TV.
