Euro 2024 final: Oyarzabal scores winner as Spain defeat England 2-1

By DailySports Nigeria on July 15, 2024

Spain defeated England 2-1 to win Euro 2024 on Sunday night.

The first half ended goalless, but it was La Roja who took the lead immediately after the break.
Nico Williams finished off a fine team move past Jordan Pickford.
The Three Lions levelled the game in the 73rd minute, after substitute Cole Palmer drilled the ball in.
Mikel Oyarzabal then slid in to tuck home Marc Cucurella’s low cross.
The result means England have lost back-to-back European Championship finals.
