Beach Soccer President In Anambra Impress With Preparations

Mahmud Hadija, President of Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) has commended the level of preparations by Anambra Beach Soccer Association ahead 2nd round of the league in the commercial hub of Nnewi from May 15 to May 19.

Hadija who arrived Anambra in company of other members of the board commended the Local Organising Committee for their commitment towards staging a successful hosting.

The team was received by members of the  Anambra State Beach Soccer Association led by  Prof. Victor Madubuko.

The president who had a tour of the playing arena at Nnewi High School, Nnewi and team camps confirmed that Anambra was ready.

 “Anambra Beach Soccer Association is a young board, but they have shown great capacity within a short time. 

“We are impressed with their passion and work rate. We have identified some areas for improvement and hope they will be addressed before the kickoff,” he said.

Madubuko promised to make the teams and guests have a worthwhile stay in Anambra.

"We welcome you to Anambra, we hope to give you the best of Anambra hospitality and make your experience memorable," he said.

Meanwhile, three out of the expected teams from outside Anambra have joined the host team, Anambra Warriors in camp.

The teams in camp so far are  Kebbi Beach Soccer Club, Kada BSC, Nmanko, Patigi BSC and hosts Anambra Warriors.
