Sports Vision has emerged winner of the 2016 edition of the Lagos State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Cup after defeating Voice of Nigeria (VON) 3-2 on penalties, Friday at the Legacy pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere Lagos. The match had ended 0-0 at regulation time.

The five- a-side competition (of 20 minutes per match) saw the National President of SWAN, Mr. Honour Sirawoo, grace the final day, alongside the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Mr. Tony Ubani. Sirawoo, in his speech, thanked Lagos SWAN for standing by him during the national SWAN elections.
