As the football fervour intensifies, the stage is set for a riveting clash of titans in the prestigious English FA Cup fixtures for the fifth round.
The anticipation is palpable as football lovers eagerly await the unveiling of matchups that promise exhilarating moments and unpredictable outcomes.
The FA Cup fixtures are scheduled for the week commencing February 26, 2024.
However, the time of each fixture is To Be Decided (TBD) as obtained on the X account, @EmiratesFAcup.
Here is the full list of ties for the Emirates FA Cup fixtures fifth-round draw:
Blackburn Rovers or Wrexham vs Newcastle United
Chelsea or Aston Villa vs Leeds United or Plymouth Argyle
AFC Bournemouth vs Leicester City
Liverpool vs Watford or Southampton
Bristol City or Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Sheffield Wednesday or Coventry City vs Maidstone United
Luton Town vs Manchester City
Meanwhile, the FA Cup, formally called The Football Association Challenge Cup, is an annual knockout tournament in men’s English football. It stands as the world’s oldest national football competition.
The third rounds were played earlier in January. The fourth round started last week.
Some games will be played tonight and those that ended in a draw will result in a second leg to be played soon.
