Unbeaten WBF Champion Abbey battles Kayage on Dec 3

Nigeria’s boxing sensation and WBF Intercontinental champion, Aina Abbey, will be keen to extend her undefeated streak as she gears up for a thrilling showdown against Tanzanian Lulu Kayage on December 3, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

Abbey, with an impressive record of 10 wins, 9 of them knockouts, will square off against Kayage (8-10-4-2KOs) in a highly anticipated female international Flyweight contest at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos State.

Under the banner of LeBond Management, Mary Abbey has emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the world of boxing. Her remarkable track record, marked by a series of dominant victories, positions her as a formidable champion in the Flyweight division.

Nicknamed ‘Iron Abbey’, her tenacity and punching power earned her the WBF Intercontinental title in February 2022 when she defeated United Kingdom’s Laura Pain at the City Coast Centre in Portslade, East Sussex.

Set to face Abbey is the skilled Tanzanian boxer Lulu Kayage, whose record showcases her experience in the ring.

With 8 wins, 10 losses, 4 draws, and 2 knockouts, Kayage brings her own set of skills and determination, promising an enthralling contest against the undefeated Nigerian champion.
