Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho has been named among the top 10 most valuable young players in the world by Soccerex 20 U21 report.
Soccerex study uses Prime Time Sport’s Football Value Index to rank footballers born on or after July 1 1995.
The Nigerian finished in ninth place behind Anthony Martial (Manchester United), Leroy Sané (Schalke 04), Renato Sanches (Bayern Munich), Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur), Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich), Breel Embolo (Schalke 04), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) and Max Meyer (Schalke 04).
Coming behind Kelechi Iheanacho is Boriussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl.
Iheanacho’s valuation of €20.066M is made bearing in mind both personal attributes and pitch performance, using his current personal information and the performances of both current season and the previous one.
