According to the Secretary General of Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBB of C), Remi Aboderin, Emeka Agba Boxing Promotions has put all modalities on ground for a successful championship that will announce their arrival in boxing promotion in the country, assuring that fans will be treated to the best of professional boxing on that day.
"The boxers we have lined up are worthy fighters who will give fans value of their money. It will also enable the boxers get more experience and exposure in their quest to progress further in the paid ranks.
" I must also commend Emeka Agba Promotions for joining the list of boxing promoters in the country which will help in giving our boxers hope and greater opportunity to have regular fights and be in a position to get good rankings and progress further in the profession.
" It's equally a thing of joy that we're now having many promoters coming around to invest in professional boxing which is an evidence of the transformation the NBB of C is bringing to bear on the sports", he stressed
Aboderin also announced that the championship will be used to celebrate the birthday of the promoter whom he described as very passionate about boxing.
