Osimhen Arrives Umuahia Ahead Of Chukwueze’s All Stars Champions League

Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, will arrive Umuahia, Abia State, on Tuesday for Samuel Chukwueze’s All Stars Champions League final.

The Napoli forward is currently in Nigeria for his holiday after helping Napoli win its first ever Scudetto in more than three decades.

And the 24-year-old was on target twice when the Super Eagles beat Sierra Leone to clinch AFCON 2024 ticket. And of course edging closer to becoming Nigeria’s all time highest goalscorer.

During this time of his vacation, the current Serie A highest goalscorer has visited his boyhood club, friends and school. And we gathered he promised relief materials, and also extended a helping hand when need arises.

Chukwueze during his vacations in Nigeria, especially when season ends, also engage with his local/boyhood friends. And he has the attitude of always hosting a tournament for grassroot footballers, giving opportunities for talents.

This year’s edition of the ‘All Stars Champions League’ started on 20 June, to end on 27 June 2023. And Judging pictures from match-days, the tournament is a keenly contested one, as participating clubs are all giving their best.

According to a source monitoring the progress of the annual tournament, Osimhen will arrive Umuahia for the final.

According to the source, Osimhen will partner his Super Eagles teammate as they seek to win the title.

“The tournament(All Stars Champions League) is a successful exercise. And I must tell you participating teams are just one of a kind,” he said.

“Every match-day looked a grand finale of the whole exercise; players giving their best. Even Chukwueze is not finding it easy to navigate the field.”

“We’re expecting Osimhen in Umuahia at least tomorrow morning. We’re anticipating his presence, and a host of other dignitaries,” he added.

The final will hold at the Ugba Primary School, Umuahia. Kickoff is at exactly 3:30pm Nigeria time.
