Hapoel Jerusalem shot-stopper Adeleye Adebayo had a good season in Israel, earning him a recall to the Super Eagles, however, one thing that has caught the eyes of fans is his resemblance to Cameroonian and Inter goalie Andre Onana.
Not only is there a resemblance, Adeleye also plays well with the ball at his feet, similar to the Cameroonian.
When ask for his thoughts about the comparisons with Onana, the Super Eagle goalie told FL it is admirable to be compared to such a quality goalkeeper.
“I have my own playing style as well. I play with the feet with my team in Israel, I play from the back with the ball, and for me it’s good and I am happy to play the style.
“A lot of people tell me that I look like Andre, but I don’t know, I just watch him play, I love the way he plays and I love that stuff, so I am happy to hear the comparison.”
