Anthony Martial will not join the Manchester United squad for this weekend’s FA Cup final against Manchester City.
This comes after his club confirmed that he is out of the game with a hamstring injury.
Martial had hit a bit of form recently, scoring twice in his last four games in Premier League victories over Wolves and Chelsea.
He also played 85 minutes of the FA Cup semi-final win over Brighton.
However, he will not feature against City at Wembley, with his season effectively over.
An official club statement read: “The France international strained his hamstring towards the end of Sunday’s 2-1 win against Fulham at Old Trafford.
“Assessments have since revealed a muscle tear that rules the 27-year-old out of the Wembley showdown.”
