Man.United sign Ibahimovic

By Daily Sports on July 2, 2016

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic after releasing a short 'it's Zlatan time' video on their official Twitter account.

The striker moves to Old Trafford on a free transfer and becomes new manager Jose Mourinho's second signing of the summer, following Eric Bailly to the Premier League club.

Ibrahimovic has signed a one-year deal with the Red Devils with the option of a second year, following his departure from Paris Saint-German.

The Swede had announced he was joining the club on Thursday through Instagram and United have now confirmed the move, again through social media, with a short video featuring the striker in the club's kit saying "It's Zlatan time".

Speaking of the move, Ibrahimovic told the club's official website: "I am absolutely delighted to be joining Manchester United and am looking forward to playing in the Premier League. It goes without saying that I cannot wait to work with Jose Mourinho once again.

"He is a fantastic manager and I am ready for this new and exciting challenge. I have thoroughly enjoyed my career so far and have some great memories. I am now ready to create more special memories in England."
