The team under the tutelage of Coach Jose Peseiro, was unable to withstand the pressure of the Algerians in the cracker which ended 2-1.
Having taken the lead through a Terem Moffi 8th minute goal, the hosts were able to level up in the 42nd minute of game via Riyad Mahrez penalty kick.
Jostling for th winning goal, Youcel Atal clipped the Eagles’ wings with a 60th minutes long range shot which left the Nigerian side powerless.
