As the 24th Women African Cup of Nations kicked off in Morocco on Saturday, Nigeria's Super Falcons are ready for the kill as the players have vowed a no mercy threat to all her opponents as the Nigerian Women flagship squad defends the title she won in the last edition.
It would be recalled that the Super Falcons, dismissed their Cote d'ivoire counterparts in February, and is in group C in the competition the Nigerians have been tipped as great favourites in pre-championship rating by pundits and analysts alike.
Even as the team was defeated by the South Africa's Banyana Banyana in Stade Moulay Hassan stadium in their first game and the South African coach has already spoken volumes about the Super Falcons sumprmacy in Women football in the continent.
Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum with his crack- 25-woman squad a mixture of the young and experienced for the tournament being hosted by a North African country, Morocco for the first time in that region promises to produce some fireworks a sign that African Women football has come of age.
The team features stars like Francisca Odega, Regina Otu, Vivian Ikechukwu, Glory Ogbonna and the likes. The promising Super Falcons stars have camped in Morocco ahead of the match on football summit.
From strength and history Super Falcons team is ready and set to make depth impact to the top where football buffs and bookmakers placed them enroute to emerging yet another champions for the 10th running in Nigeria's Women football history which she first hosted in MKO Abiola Stadium Abeokuta in 1998.
