Former Chief of Enyimba International FC of Aba, Kadiri Ikhana (MON) has passed vote of confidence on the current handler of the team Findi George restating that the young sweat merchant is steering the ship of the former two time CAF Champions League kings well believing that tremendous results would start pouring in no distance future calling on the management and supporters of the team to rally round the coach as the results would start pouring in no distant future.

The former national team player and 1980 Africa Cup of Nations Green Eagles member added that the Rivers State born coach in his first tenure in the team is not doing badly as the process of building strong and formidable team need patience, understanding from all stakeholders.

“The way and manner the coach is tailoring Enyimba is in steady direction. He is not relenting at all in his spirited bid to turn the team around. Remember he is just coming into a competitive football as a coach.  He has to learn the ropes and become a master of the terrain. He is not doing badly and anybody that love the team and the coach would offer this kind of advice I am doing here. The young coach needs encouragement in all spheres. The NPFL is not an easy competition. It has so many dangerous intrigues. In my mind, George is putting his right foot forward in Enyimba International to excel and finish the season on respectable position, Ikhana restated.

He specially commended the management of the team for its support to the coach pointing out that it has further shown the usual maturity and understanding that have been existing in the which of course distanced it from the rest of the teams in NPFL.

“Truth is that by not putting undue pressure on Findi George by the Enyimba management clearly meant it does not unnecessarily interfere in technical affairs of the team.  The management has shown much support to the coach and such would continue to give George sense of responsibility to strive harder for the good of his side’s improvement in the log, he posited.

The former Bendel Insurance FC defender then called on the players to ensure they up their game especially in this crunchy time in the NPFL competition. He stressed that resilience has been the middle name off Enyimba and so this set of players must reenact such spirit in this crucial hour. Aba fans need such badly, he stressed.
