Napoli willing to listen to offers for Osimhen amid Arsenal links

Napoli are targeting a revolution and may see the Super Eagles striker as a prized asset they can cash out on

Victor Osimhen may be on his way out of Napoli at the end of the season if the right offer is presented.

Napoli are believed to have set a price tag of €90m on the attacker in addition to bonuses and will not be listening to any offer lower than that valuation.

Osimhen has had an impressive time in the Serie A, although injuries have limited his performances and impact.

He has been a key cog this season, scoring goals and assisting and is supported and loved by the fans.

According to tuttomercatoweb, Napoli Chief Executive Aurelio De Laurentiis is targeting a revolution at the club, with a different approach to player acquisition and management.

He is targeting younger players from the club’s academy to make the step up as Napoli look to shed bills, which has seen some of the team’s biggest stars not getting new contracts.

Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens are staples in the history of the club and are on their way out, while Osimhen is considered a significant asset that could be cashed out on.

The team is also looking to cut its wage expenses with Khalidou Koulibaly seen as the only member of the squad who’d be paid a huge wage.

Napoli signed Osimhen from Lille in a €70m and it’s not clear yet if offers lower than that valuation will be listened to.

The Partenopeans have made their case clear and how valued the attacker is but there may be twists and turns at the end of the season.

Osimhen is currently attracting interests from England with Manchester United and Arsenal believed to be in contention.

It’s still unclear how much both clubs want the attacker but reports in the English media have strongly linked them together.
