Emmanuel Dennis, Ademola Lookman, and Moses Simon have fired a big warning to Ghana as the countdown to next month’s World Cup playoffs continues.
Following his inability to show up for Nigeria at the recent AFCON in Cameroon, Genk striker, Paul Onuachu marked his 100th appearance for the Belgian side with his 15th goal of the league season this past week.
His current form has proved what he delivered the last term was not a fluke. It is only baffling that he has yet to cash in on his goals in Belgium with a big-money transfer that he more than deserves.
In the same vein, Moses Simon, the flying winger continued his form from the recent AFCON with another eye-catching display after he inspired FC Nantes to upset mighty PSG complete with Lionel Messi and Neymar.
He set the tone for a massive 3-1 home win with the assist for his team’s opening goal and enjoyed another great individual showing. His club are now very much in contention for European football next season after they barely stayed up in Ligue 1 in the previous campaign.
Nigeria new man, Ademola Lookman, put up a good showing for Leicester City with two assists in the UEFA Conference League big win over Danish club Randers before he scored at Wolves in the Premier League three days later.
Without a doubt the RB Leipzig loanee will be a valuable addition to the Super Eagles beginning with next month’s crucial World Cup playoffs against Ghana.
Wilfred Ndidi scored his second goal in Europe this season with his strike against Randers for Leicester City Thursday. He also hit the 200-match milestone for his club. Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen was on hand at the King Power Stadium to watch Ndidi produce another top-class performance.
Watford man, Emmanuel Dennis proved his worth again when his second-half goal at Aston Villa gave his club three crucial points in their battle for survival.
He has now netted nine goals in the league, which will enhance his own self-belief and the confidence of the entire team going forward. He will certainly return to the Super Eagles after he was stopped from the AFCON by his club.
