The family of departed Nigeria coaching legend Shuaibu Amodu has announced that the eighth day fidau prayer for the former NFF Technical Director will take place at his Lagos home on Saturday, 18th June.
Amodu, who qualified the Super Eagles for the 2002 and 2010 FIFA World Cups and won two Cup of Nations bronze medals in a four –time stint, and also qualified the Beach Soccer National Team for the 2006 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, died in his sleep in Benin City in the early hours of Saturday last week.
He was buried the same day in his home –town, Okpella in Edo State.
The fidau prayer will hold at late Amodu’s residence at 41b, Adegoke Street, off Alhaji Masha Street, Surulere, Lagos starting from 10am.
