By Victor Enyinnaya on February 9, 2022

Newly appointed Super Eagles Chief Coach Emmanuel Amuneke has received the news of his recent announcement as the chief coach of the country’s flagship team as welcome development and his readiness to wholeheartedly contribute his best for the growth of the team.
According to one of his closest confident who craved for anonymity told Daily Sports in an exclusive chat that the Spain base former Africa Footballer of the Year 1994 received the news with every enthusiasm and prayed that the crew would work like family, in short with one accord to successfully steer the country and her teeming fans of the most popular game in the globe a new lease of life, he quoted the ex-international turned trained to have confided.
The usual dependable source further revealed that the former Tanzanian head coach returned to his base in Spain after serving in one of CAF committees at the recently concluded AFCON in Cameroon and pledge to continue to honour the country and serve her with the best of his ability.
The source did not either confirm or deny if the NFF has contacted him for the latest job, since Amuneke had earlier denied the knowledge of the appointment when it went viral in the social media before this present confirmation by the NFF.
“This announcement has been made and the Atlanta Olympics gold medalist in football member heard. We are glad about it. It is an honour to be so recongised by one’s country for an important national assignment of this high profile nature.  I would say in this context that we not only rejoice with them but pray for God’s guidance to perform this task ahead,” the confidant further reveals.
