Nigerian international Isaac Success is playing host to a major Spanish football agent in his home town of Benin City.
Fernando Alfredo, who is Success’ new personal manager and senior agent working for La Liga club Rayo Vallecano, is on a whirlwind visit in the ancient city. On Saturday, he was amongst the hundreds of guests who graced the marriage ceremony of Isaac Success’ sister.
Earlier on Friday, Alfredo visited Douglas Idahosa, Chairman of top Benin City grassroots side BJ Foundation (from where Success was groomed) and presented him two sets of Rayo Vallecano jerseys.
On Sunday morning, a large crowd turned out as Alfredo watched a friendly match between BJ and Konkon FC.
The agent was focused on the game (which BJ won 3-0) throughout and took down names of players who impressed him.
He then showed his magnanimity by providing refreshments for the fans after the game and taking a group photograph with the players and fans.
