Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers has appointed former Super Eagles Captain, Joseph Yobo as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Sports Development.
This is contained in a statement issued on Tuesday in Port Harcourt by Mr Simeon Wakaudu, Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media.
The statement said the governor also appointed Mr Chibuzor Aholu as Senior Special Assistant on Financial Matters
According to the statement, both appointments are with immediate effect. (NAN)
